Nathan Hughes works as an artist, filmmaker and creative consultant with fluid configurations of people, place and technology. He uses lens-based media and participatory events to investigate the interplay of myth, mind and screen.

He co-founded award winning arts collective I Am The Mighty Jungulator, and guided research and development of innovative audio-visual software with partners and clients such as Watershed, The BBC, The Philharmonia Orchestra and Futurelab. He coordinated IATMJ's community outreach programs and processed video for performances at prestige sound, art and technology showcases such as Rotterdam International Film Festival, Late @Tate, Cybersonica and The Big Chill.
