Stylisticcomparisons with Jan Svankmajer, Chris Cunningham, Alejandro Jodorowskyand especially the Terminator series are applicable, and it would beintriguing to see what the filmmaker could do with a larger budget.Excellent stuff, without a second of its running time wasted onunnecessary packaging or redundant ideas; which is exactly how itshould be."
