I Am The Mighty Jungulator in partnership with Bristol's Colston Hall, presented an octophonic (8 speaker) re-imagining of Shostakovich's 6th symphony, as performed earlier the same evening by The Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by the great Vladimir Ashkenazy. After discreetly capturing the orchestral performance, IATMJ delivered a full-length update of Shostakovich’s work. Old worlds met new at this preconception-busting event that got the digital generation on speaking terms with the glories of classical music.
