This film was made for Roman Roots, a project
led by young people who created an exciting
new interpretation of Kings Weston Roman
Villa in Lawrence Weston, Bristol. The project was coordinated by Bristol City Museum & Art Gallery with support from the Young Roots stream of
the Heritage Lottery Fund.
"We're all from Bristol, and aged 12 to 16. We all like acting
and performing and we've made a film, and acted out a play about the
villa. This film is about Dr Loo, a time travelling teenager, who goes
back to see what life was like at the villa in Roman times. He also
discovers an Anglo-Saxon murder and the 1940s excavation along the way!"
